Job Description

Field Service and Sales Representatives in Customer Service (m/f/d)

Concrete on the outside. Technology on the inside. Whether in the fields of electricity, gas, water, renewable energy, digitalization, e-mobility, or industry—as a leading specialist in technical facilities, we’ve been ensuring your supply for 60 years and are proud to make a significant contribution to the energy and mobility transition. From traditional construction and finishing trades to skilled trades and engineering disciplines—1,300 employees from a wide range of professional backgrounds work together at our company to develop solutions for a sustainable future. We see ourselves as enablers and doers, and through our climate strategy, we aim to make a tangible contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Join our rapidly growing team and help us shape the energy world of tomorrow. GRITEC. We keep the world running.

GRITEC’s SERVICES division ensures that existing energy, gas, and heating infrastructure remains reliable, safe, and future-proof. Rather than new construction, our focus is on retrofitting, modernization, and sustainable asset maintenance—an approach that conserves resources, reduces CO₂ emissions, and makes a genuine contribution to the energy transition. In addition, we offer comprehensive engineering services and support our customers right from the planning stage with safe, future-proof, and sustainable solutions.

Here’s what you can expect:

Technical Customer Consulting

You will review customer inquiries and specifications and provide expert advice to our customers—both from the office and directly on-site. In doing so, you will develop tailored solutions and oversee projects from the initial inquiry through to implementation.

Presentation, Sales, and New Customer Acquisition

You will present our products, services, and the company in a compelling manner to customers, at trade shows, and at events. By actively reaching out to new customers and decision-makers, you will identify new business opportunities, generate interest in our services, and continuously expand your network.

Planning Support and Site Surveys

You’ll conduct technical consultations with planners, engineers, and customers, participate in planning and coordination meetings, and assess conditions directly on the construction site. Based on this, you’ll develop cost-effective and practical solution proposals.

Technical Planning and Solution Development

You will develop technical concepts for substation buildings, building components, and electrical equipment. In doing so, you will coordinate your solutions with customers and internal departments and oversee their technical implementation.

Quotation and Order Management

You prepare quotes in SAP, review purchase orders, and issue order confirmations. In addition, you actively follow up on quotes, document sales activities in the SAP system, and support forecast and revenue planning.

Contract Negotiations and Commercial Project Management

You will conduct contract and price negotiations with customers and manage the commercial aspects of bids, framework agreements, and large-scale projects. In doing so, you will always keep an eye on contract terms, payment schedules, and revenue targets.

Customer Support and Problem Solving

You identify disruptions in the project or sales process at an early stage and develop pragmatic solutions. You resolve outstanding issues, customer feedback, and payment questions independently and with a focus on customer service.

Market Analysis and Business Development

You analyze market trends and customer requirements, identify new business opportunities, and actively contribute your ideas to the further development of our products and services. Together with the relevant departments, you contribute to the successful implementation of our sales strategy.

What You Bring to the Table:

Professional Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a degree in a technical field—ideally in civil engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable discipline—and have several years of professional experience in technical sales, field service, project management, or account management.
  • Alternatively, you have completed advanced training as a technician or master craftsman (m/f/d) in the electrical or construction trades—preferably with a focus on grid operations or plant engineering—as well as several years of professional experience in technical sales.

  • You are proficient in using SAP S/4HANA.
  • You are willing to travel extensively within southern Germany and Austria.
