Information Security Expert/OT Renewables (m/f/d)

As an Information Security Expert, you’ll support the operational management of renewable energy facilities (wind, hydro, solar, BESS, and others) with regard to information security, particularly in the area of operational technology (OT) and industrial IT systems.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Establishing, certifying, and operating information security management systems (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001, ISO 2700x, or other relevant standards
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, including documentation
  • Planning, conducting, supporting, and following up on audits
  • Supporting the OT team on other projects

Your Profile – What You Should Bring to the Table:

  • Training or a degree in computer science (or a related field), or alternatively, relevant professional experience in information security, including an additional qualification in information security, such as ISO 2700x, CISSP, CISM, TISP, or similar
  • Professional experience in the development, operation, and certification of an ISMS; additional knowledge, such as in security audits or penetration testing, is a plus
  • Strong change management skills, such as communication and the ability to handle criticism, combined with a methodical and responsible approach to work
  • Fluency in German (C1 level) and good English skills (B1 level)
  • Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel to our facilities within Germany
