Construction Site Coordinator for Large-Scale High-Voltage Projects (a*)

What You’ll Be Doing

• As an appointed construction manager, you will oversee construction sites for complex high-voltage projects involving 110-kV switchgear and fulfill the duties of a construction manager in accordance with the German Construction Ordinance (HBauO), while complying with all public law regulations and requirements.

• You ensure and oversee the complete execution of construction work, including in your role as coordinator in accordance with DGUV V1 § 6.

• You consistently verify that work is carried out in accordance with recognized technical standards (DIN, VDE, VDE AR N, VOB/C, DGUV regulations).

• You are responsible for functional tests and commissioning in close collaboration with project management and the grid operator.

• You coordinate and reconcile the work performed by subcontractors and HNE staff, and develop timely corrective measures in the event of any deviations—including through the use of BIM.

What Sets You Apart

• You hold a degree in electrical engineering.

• You have at least five years of professional experience in the construction of 110-kV high-voltage systems.

• You have successfully completed training in project management at the “International Project Management Association Level D.”

• Practical experience in grid operation or grid infrastructure construction for high-voltage projects is part of your profile.

• You are distinguished by your strong knowledge of the relevant laws, standards, and regulations in construction and electrical engineering pertaining to the construction and operation of high-voltage systems.

• You are familiar with managing BIM projects in compliance with the GDPR.

• You possess strong communication skills and demonstrate a confident demeanor when interacting with all project stakeholders.
