Here’s what you can expect:
As an Assistant Foreman (m/f/d), you will play a central role in our carpentry shop and, together with your team, ensure smooth operations in the production area.
- Working in the woodworking shop, as well as organizing, coordinating the shop, and ensuring an efficient workflow
- Planning, scheduling, and providing technical and disciplinary leadership to a small team of up to 5 people
- Ensuring that material usage and working hours are properly reported in the designated systems
- Selecting, implementing, and managing tools, machinery, and operational and work equipment for your area
- Responsibility for order, cleanliness, and structured workflows within your area of responsibility
- Compliance with accident prevention regulations and legal requirements in the workplace
- Participating in the creation and further development of hazard assessments
- Supporting occupational safety, environmental protection, and health and safety measures in close collaboration with production and department management
What you bring to the table:
You are an experienced professional (m/f/d) with leadership skills who can maintain a clear overview even amid the demands of daily production.
- A completed apprenticeship as a carpenter, joiner, or cabinetmaker, or a comparable qualification, e.g., master craftsman or foreman (m/f/d)
- Several years of professional experience in a skilled trades or manufacturing environment
- Experience as a foreman, team leader (m/f/d), or in a comparable leadership role is desirable
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines (e.g., occupational safety, accident prevention)
- A structured and responsible approach to work
- Strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and assertiveness
- Flexibility and a confident demeanor when interacting with employees
