Here’s what you can expect:
- As part of our Product Management team for Energy Technology/Standards/Innovation, you’ll ensure that new market requirements for our technical facilities are identified and evaluated through feasibility studies, and that new standards for our products are implemented.
- You will be one of our in-house experts when it comes to planning and conducting type tests for our technical stations and their further development.
- You will calculate and dimension suitable parts and components to ensure our solutions are designed in compliance with standards.
- You will be independently responsible for preparing and conducting type tests, including arc flash testing with external partners, heat stress testing in our own thermal test facility, as well as EMC measurements and calculations, ensuring that planning, implementation, and application-oriented documentation comply with standards.
- You will work closely with the R&D, Engineering, and Sales departments on development projects and coordinate measures for cross-plant standardization of product design.
- You will participate in our product and process audits.
What you bring to the table:
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, ideally with a focus on electrical power engineering, or a degree as a state-certified electrical engineer specializing in power engineering, or a master electrician with relevant professional experience
- Practical experience in the planning, project management, and development of power systems (medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchgear)
- Design, technical specification, and implementation of electrical systems
- Experience working in a test facility
- Ideally, experience with commissioning and on-site work
- We require strong computer skills; ideally, knowledge of SAP
- Good written and spoken English skills for communicating with international partners
