Opportunities to Make a Difference
- Operations & Responsibility: You’ll ensure the smooth operation of the biogas plants in Wasmerslage and Uchtdorf, thereby making a direct contribution to the energy transition.
- Technical Leadership: You will lead the operations team, coordinate processes, and ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
- Agricultural Collaboration: You’ll actively shape our collaboration with agricultural operations, thereby directly contributing to the reliable energy production of our plants.
- Permit Processes: You ensure compliance with permits and environmental regulations, thereby contributing to responsible operations.
- Plant Operations: You coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs, management, and optimization to ensure our biogas plants deliver reliable energy over the long term.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Completed vocational training as a technician or master craftsman (any field); a bachelor’s degree in process engineering, agricultural sciences, or environmental engineering; or a comparable qualification through relevant professional experience.
- Technical Background: Knowledge of business administration, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a good understanding of agricultural contexts.
- Professional experience: Relevant practical experience in the biogas industry is desirable.
- Technical understanding: Versatility in hands-on work and strong technical expertise in plant operations.
- Personal Qualities: High level of commitment and mobility within the regional work area.
This position is particularly well-suited for candidates who have professional experience in the biogas sector, e.g., as a Biogas Plant Manager (all), Biogas Plant Operations Manager (all), Technical Operations Manager (all), Plant Operations Team Leader (all), or Agricultural & Energy Foreman/Technician (all).
