Seeking Co-Founder (Business Operations) for a Startup in the Renewable Energy Sector
We’re bringing wind power to places where it hasn’t been before. SAILient (in the process of being founded) develops and builds sail-based wind turbines modeled after historic windmills: quiet, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally friendly at locations where traditional small wind turbines fail (tourism, agriculture, nature conservation, municipalities).
Our current status: An engineering team, a thoroughly engineered and aerodynamically optimized turbine concept, a product line up to 75 kW, and compelling market validation: 52% of respondents prefer our turbine over a conventional one (28%). Next steps: Finalize the business plan, establish the company with state funding, and build a prototype for proof of concept (PoC).
