Senior Project Manager, Renewable Energy Development (m/f/d)

As a project manager, you’ll be responsible for developing projects in the renewable energy sector with a focus on onshore wind, photovoltaics, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). You’ll work as part of our team in Berlin, though you’ll also have the option to work remotely part of the time.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing the entire project development process from acquisition through to construction readiness
- Preparing budgets and schedules, and managing project-related decision-making processes
- Developing appropriate concepts and measures to ensure the progress of your projects
- Communicating and coordinating with all project stakeholders, such as government agencies, landowners, partners, and internal teams
- Leading project teams and reporting on project progress, in some cases in English
Your Profile – What You Should Bring to the Table:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, natural sciences, engineering, or comparable disciplines
- Several years of professional experience in project management or development in the wind, PV, or BESS sectors through to construction readiness, with demonstrable project successes
- In-depth knowledge of permitting processes (BImSchG procedures); additional training in project management is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a results-oriented, professional approach to work
- Fluency in German and English (C1 level), as well as a willingness to travel occasionally within Germany
