About Us:
Since 2012, Biocraft Nohra GmbH has been operating a plant in Nohra, Thuringia, to produce raw biogas and subsequently utilize it in combined heat and power plants. The plant is based on technically mature and reliable equipment from renowned manufacturers. Each year, we generate approximately 14 million kWh of electricity and an equal amount of heat, which we supply directly to nearby customers. We partner with local and regional farmers who supply us annually with approximately 35,000 metric tons of substrates made from renewable raw materials and animal byproducts. In the future, we will also produce biomethane from the biogas generated using a processing plant.
