greentech is an integrated solar and energy storage specialist. We firmly believe that the transition to 100 percent renewable electricity generation can only succeed if we can also store green electricity, thereby balancing generation and consumption. Do you agree? Then we’re looking for you as an experienced project developer, ideally full-time, based in Hamburg. In your new role, you’ll oversee the permitting process and manage the technical preliminary planning, ultimately bringing your project successfully to construction-ready status and achieving a major milestone in project development.
Your responsibilities:
- Responsible management of battery storage and PV projects from the initial approval decision through to construction readiness
- Initiating, managing, and finalizing permitting processes (land-use plan amendments, building permits, environmental reports)
- Processing and preparing all permitting and project documentation
- Selecting, contracting, and coordinating service providers, such as landscape architects and architects
- Managing public engagement and stakeholder participation
Your Profile:
- A successfully completed degree in engineering, renewable energy, geography, business administration, or a comparable field
- Experience in the renewable energy sector and in the project development of utility-scale battery storage and PV projects
- Proficiency in MS Office (O365)
- Business-level proficiency in German
- Class B driver’s license (travel required approx. 20% nationwide)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as a confident demeanor
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, combined with strong teamwork skills
- High motivation for the expansion of renewable energy
