Job Description

Project Manager, Technical Sales & Project Management (m/f/d)

Concrete on the outside. Technology on the inside. Whether in the fields of electricity, gas, water, renewable energy, digitalization, e-mobility, or industry—as a leading specialist in technical buildings, we’ve been ensuring your supply for 60 years and are proud to make a significant contribution to the energy and mobility transition. From traditional construction and finishing trades to skilled crafts and engineering disciplines—1,300 employees from a wide range of professional backgrounds work together at our company to develop solutions for a sustainable future. We see ourselves as enablers and doers, and through our climate strategy, we aim to make a tangible contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Join our rapidly growing team and help shape the energy world of tomorrow with us. GRITEC. We keep the world running.

GRITEC’s SERVICES division ensures that existing energy, gas, and heating infrastructure remains reliable, safe, and future-proof. Rather than new construction, our focus is on retrofitting, modernization, and sustainable maintenance of existing assets—an approach that conserves resources, reduces CO₂ emissions, and makes a genuine contribution to the energy transition. In addition, we offer comprehensive engineering services and support our customers right from the planning stage with safe, future-proof, and sustainable solutions.

Here’s what you can expect:

Technical Customer Consulting in the Field

You’ll support our customers directly on-site, analyze their requirements, and develop tailor-made solutions. Through your expert and solution-oriented consulting, you’ll identify new project opportunities and generate additional business.

Measurements and Surveys

You will conduct measurements of electrical equipment rooms, substation buildings, and other energy supply structures. In addition, you will document the existing conditions, assess the structural condition, and prepare well-founded reports on damage and defects.

Technical Planning and Solution Development

You develop technical concepts for substation buildings and electrical equipment. In doing so, you plan new construction and renovation projects, coordinate standards-compliant solutions with clients and internal departments, and oversee their implementation.

Bidding and Project Management

You will independently calculate project costs, prepare proposals and order confirmations, and manage commercial processing via SAP. In doing so, you will keep a close eye on deadlines, costs, and project goals at all times.

Project Coordination and Interface Management

You coordinate all project-related processes and work closely with the engineering, purchasing, and installation departments. Through your structured approach, you ensure that projects run smoothly.

Materials and Supplier Management

You’ll select suitable materials and suppliers and manage the entire procurement process for your projects, prioritizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.

Comprehensive Project Support and Construction Management

You oversee your projects from planning through implementation to final acceptance and post-project cost analysis. On construction sites, you take charge of site management and ensure that work is carried out professionally and on schedule.

Process Improvement

You actively contribute your experience to develop and continuously improve efficient and standardized processes for project management in customer service.

What you bring to the table:

Professional Qualifications

  • You hold a degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or a comparable field and have professional experience in infrastructure or energy supply construction.
  • Alternatively, you have successfully completed advanced training as a technician (m/f/d) or master craftsman (m/f/d) in the electrical engineering field and have several years of practical professional experience in the energy supply or grid operations sector.
  • Ideally, you have already gained experience in customer service, project management, technical sales, or account management.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the relevant technical regulations, standards, TAB guidelines, and DGUV regulations.
  • Working confidently with technical documents, plans, and documentation is a regular part of your daily routine.

  • You think innovatively, identify opportunities for improvement, and actively contribute your own ideas.
